• Get Sexy Shoulders

    Hi Oxygen friends,

    I’m testing out a new way to do video blogs for you all. Let me know what you think! I’m really excited to do them this way because I don’t have to talk and exercise at the same time, yet I can give you all the details as I do the voice over!!! Needless to say, it’s a bit easier.

    For this workout I’m focusing on my favorite body part, the shoulders. Strong shoulders are just sexy, powerful, and all around handy for daily activities. It’s winter and while it might be easy to hide under all the sweaters and sweatshirts, now is the time to start working on toning up your body. So today I’m giving you a detailed look at my shoulder workout and showing you how I turn an upper body workout into a fat burning, lower body toning, calorie crushing workout.

    *Be sure to warm up for 5-10 minutes to get your blood flowing. Today I spent a few minutes on the elliptical and also jump roped for a bit before starting my workout.

    1. Overhead press with single leg step ups
    2. Rear delt raise on incline bench with a pop squat
    3. Upright row with bench cross over
    4. Front to side plate lift with repeater lunge
    5. Reverse pec deck with Inverted shoulder press
    6. Lateral raise with bench hinge-hops

    Complete 3-4 sets of each exercise. Use a weight that allows for 8-12 reps each set.

    *Do 30 reps or 30 seconds of each cardio drill between sets of shoulder exercises.
