As most of you know from my prior blog, I was on Dr. Oz this past Tuesday. It was so fun waking up and waiting to watch the episode. It all went so fast when we were filming it that it was such a blur. It sounds odd, but I was really nervous to see it on TV. I had so many questions and doubts in my head like would I look OK, would everyone like my tips, would anyone actually do them, did I stumble on my words, maybe I should have worn the blue shirt, etc. etc. etc.! I’m sure you’ve all had those moments when you do something great and then second guess yourself. I do it a lot (it’s the perfectionist in me) but this time I was going to see exactly how I did!
I watched the clock all day until 3:00 came and then I flipped on the TV and waited for my segment. I insisted that my husband Gunter give the entire show his undivided attention even if I wasn’t on yet, which might I add is a bit tricky with a two year old!!
My segment came on and Jake pointed to the TV and said Mama and giggled! It was so cute. As I watched in my usual self critical way I was so happy to see that I really looked like I was having as much fun as I did! I was so relieved and proud as I soaked up every minute of how cool the experience was. It was so much fun working along side of someone like Dr. Oz whom genuinely cares about helping people as much as I do.
I am so inspired by every one’s feed back and just knowing that every little tip I toss out to the universe could be the one tip that really strikes home for someone that needs it. Reading all the comments on the Dr. Oz site really light my fire to keep cranking out the tips for you all. So gear up to have some fun getting in great shape this summer! Let’s keep sharing ideas and spread the inspiration.
