A piece of advice on Day 3 of the Best Body Challenge: don’t take the stairs. I am so sore. SO SORE. Way more sore than I was on Day 2, which Deputy Editor Rachel Crocker tells me is typical (apparently, you feel it most 48 hours after exercising. Who knew?). I seriously weigh my options before I get up from my desk chair—do I really need a glass of water? Can I just call in to our layout meeting instead of walking 10 feet down the hall?
Complaining aside, I really did love the workout! I like that it’s up to you to do your best and push yourself to failure. I totally surprised myself with the number of pushups I could do (5!). Check out how I did on the right. My goals for this month are to do at least one decline push-up, increase my wall squat times and up my plank times. What are yours?
I can’t believe I’m going through the program again tonight. The very thought of wall squats makes my quads ache (oh, never mind—that’s just all the time).
