I’m proud to say I’ve started 2012 off on the right foot where fitness
is concerned. My eating habits have been good, I’ve even started getting
up a little bit earlier to make time for a good breakfast. This time of
year I usually try to stay under the covers as long as I possibly can. -
I love a good vision board!

I’ve always been a fan of the vision board. I have made three different
ones over the course of the past five years. Each one illustrating the
goals I was aiming for, and the emotions and attitudes I wanted to
embody. Words like “success, confidence, happiness, joy” were always
occurring themes. I would also include pictures of people I admired,
respected and loved. -

This morning’s workout was a struggle. It’s funny, because I took yesterday off from the gym, but all day I was looking forward to today’s 6 a.m. cardio session. But once I got to the gym, after about five minutes on the elliptical, I was losing steam. My body felt like a ton of bricks and every motion seemed to sap more and more energy.

Last night I had a craving for a little something sweet. So when I
stumbled upon this recipe (on Clean Eating’s website) combining three of my favorite ingredients - bananas, peanut butter and dark chocolate - I knew I had to give it a try.
