Page 1: Cereal Mix Snack
Ingredients:
- Pam cooking spray
- 3 tbsp natural peanut butter
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp Smart Balance butter
- 2 tbsp dried fruit
- 3 cups whole-grain cereal (i.e. Kashi GoLean Crunch)
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 175 degrees Fahrenheit, then lightly spray a baking sheet with Pam. Mix together the peanut butter, honey and butter in a small bowl, then cook in the microwave on high for 30 seconds, or until melted. Mix fruit with cereal, then combine with peanut butter mixture in a large bowl. Spread the mixture onto the baking sheet and back uncovered for one and a half hours.
*Eat a half-cup of the mixture with three boiled egg whites for a delicious, quick and balanced breakfast. Or eat a small handful with a piece of fruit for a balanced snack.
