Favorite move: “I love working my chest and training my abs,” says Krista, a busy stay-at-home mom who works out in the mornings to help balance her schedule. “But my absolute favorite are triceps dips while doing a handstand!”
Good advice: Krista says she started working out when she was just 17 and she remembers how intimidating it was to first step into a gym. “Just get out and do it,” says Krista to gym first-timers. “I suggest eating right and combining your foods appropriately. Pat yourself on the back and tell yourself you are terrific."
Weights vs. cardio: “I’m more of a weights girl, although I love various types of cardio,” says Krista, who trains with a mix of both cardio and weights four times a week. “I just bought a road bike and I’m loving it for changing things up.”
Who is your role model?
“In fitness it was Cory Everson from the early ‘90s. She was an inspiration for me!”
