Want to hear from a couple of the
pros? It’s simple: you ask, they answer.
This month’s need-to-know question:
When you reach a plateau
with a body part, how do you push
past it?

Cynthia Ekman
“When I’ve reached a plateau with a particular body part, I
try to vary my workout to include exercises I have never done or haven’t
done in a while. Also, I’ll change the number of reps or sets to vary
the workout and achieve more benefits.”
Jen Hendershott
“I don’t usually plateau with body parts, however I do find
it happens with my training. At times I love it and other times I’m
simply burned out. When this happens, I just take time off from the gym
and don’t let myself or anyone else make me feel guilty for doing
it. I believe everyone needs to go at their own pace and live life as they
please.”
