Want to hear from a couple of the
pros? It’s simple: you ask, they answer.
This month’s need-to-know question:
“What advice would you have
given yourself 10 years ago?”
Elaine Goodlad
“Do not let fear run or ruin your life. You have more to fear from fear itself than what you think you are afraid of. Fear is merely a state of mind that cripples you and keeps you from achieving your goals and moving forward. You can achieve anything you set your mind to if you work hard at it and, most importantly, believe in yourself.”
Stephanie Worsfold
“Be patient! Good things don’t come easy. If you work hard and love what you do, it shows and things will happen for you. As the saying goes, ‘What goes around, comes around.’ You have to enjoy what you are doing and this goes with everything in life, including work. Once you stop feeling fulfilled, it’s time to look for another career. We only live once, and since we spend a large part of our time at work, we better enjoy what we do.”
