“I take a very chilled-out approach to training and eating while on vacation - without going overboard. It’s important for one’s overall well-being to take a little physical and mental break from daily routines every few months. Yoga by the ocean at sunrise is a very rejuvenating experience. Relaxing walks on the beach and nature trails or bike rides through the town I’m visiting are great ways to take in the sites, too.”

“If my husband and I are going on a relaxing vacation, we always pack our in-line skates so we can enjoy the weather and exercise, too. Rollerblading is a great workout and a fun way to spend time together. We also enjoy running on the beach in the evening together so we can watch the sunset. If the resort doesn’t have the workout equipment I need, then I just do toning exercises in the room or on the beach. I feel so much better if I work out on vacation.”
