OK, I’m going to level with you: I thought about changing my playlist because I was worried it would be too aggressive for most people. But then I remembered that I used to be embarrassed about listening to hardcore or metal music. Back in the day, I’d keep some radio rock bands around that I could play in the truck if I had a date or something. But at the end of the day, this is the music I love. I’m a metal guy.

I grew up as a drummer in our church. While listening to my headphones, my pastor always used to ask me what I was practicing to. Frankly, he probably would have had a heart attack if I played my music through the speakers!
