Elaine Hayes is a Pilates, Barre, and Yoga Instructor and the Founder & CEO of MNTSTUDIO.Driven by her desire for a career where she could help people, Elaine graduated from UC Berkeley and enrolled in law school before realizing her real passion was wellness. After earning her Pilates instructor certification, she purchased a single reformer machine and opened her first studio in the spare bedroom of her apartment. Within months, her schedule was completely booked, and she set her sights on bootstrapping an expansion. Named the Bay Area’s top Pilates studio several years in a row, MNTSTUDIO’s flagship studio now occupies 6,000 square feet and offers mat and reformer Pilates and barre classes. As a mother, creating a safe, family-friendly environment is a top priority for Elaine, so she includes childcare and prenatal classes in MNT’s core offerings at each studio. Elaine has also developed her own comprehensive teacher trainings for her staff and other aspiring instructors from around the world. Through MNT, she strives to empower each and every individual to transform their lives for the better through movement, self-care, and community.
