Training time: To balance her day, Michelle likes to break up her training into two sessions. “I usually try to do cardio first thing in the morning before I go to work,” Michelle says, “then I will lift weights in the afternoon as soon as I get off work.”

Fave cardio: Michelle says she didn’t start lifting weights until college. Now she competes in figure for fun. As for cardio, Michelle likes to hit equipment at her gym. “I love to do the StairMaster – it gets the heart rate up quickly.”

Good advice: “Believe in yourself,” is Michelle’s best fitness tip and advice to those starting to train. “If you can do that and feel positive about it then all of your goals will start to manifest.””
