Chocolate Peppermint Smoothie

Makes 1 serving

1 scoop chocolate whey protein powder

½ cup nonfat milk

1 tablespoon chopped fresh mint or 1/8 teaspoon mint extract (Be careful, a little goes a long way!)

¼ avocado, cubed

ice cubes

2 or 3 sugar-free peppermint candies, crushed (optional)

1 tablespoon sugar-free chocolate chips (optional)

Add ingredients (except candy) to blender; process until smooth.
Top with crushed peppermint candy or chocolate chips, if desired.
