Healthy Mix-Mash

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb extra-lean ground turkey
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 small can of dark red kidney beans, drained
  • 1 medium tomato, diced
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic salt
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the turkey, onion and garlic. Then brown the mixture in a pan with the olive oil. Add the kidney beans, tomato, chili powder and garlic salt. Combine and heat through thoroughly. Add salt and pepper to taste. Serve with a green salad.
