This playlist is perfect for my Oxygen workout (see “Feel The Power,” August 2015), as well as any other workout that builds in energy! I begin with a little bit of rock because it grounds my energy. And since I know most of the lyrics it keeps my head in the gym and out of the chaos of my day. Then, as the the music evolves to more up-tempo beats and songs, my intensity follows. I use hip-hop to create a steady and focused rhythm in each exercise, and by the time I hit the techno/rap mixes I’m in full swing! I use the music to get more out my sessions, so try it out and you can do the same!
