Nicole Stout’s 3 Favorite Cardio Exercises

This 22-year-old Team USA Judo athlete and a 2020 and 2024 Olympic hopeful shares her three favorite forms of cardio, ranging from rowing to resistance-band training.

Complete the cardio work first, then move into the band circuit.

Cardio

Jump rope 10 to 15 minutes.*

Row 2,000 meters.

*Do single-unders for 10 minutes, then double-unders until failure.

Pro tip: When rowing, keep your back straight, and don’t allow your knees to buckle inward.

Band Circuit

Perform five sets each of the below exercises. Rest as needed.
