Tanji Johnson flipped and tumbled across the stage to an energetic soundtrack of Janet Jackson tunes.
Tanji’s energetic and athletic performance won over the judges.
After years of narrowly missing first place in the Fitness International cateogry, Tanji Johnson finally claimed her place at the top on the evening of March 1st at Veteran’s Memorial Auditorium in Columbus, Ohio.
Second place was awarded to crowd favorite Oksana Grishina, who wowed with a Joker-themed routine.
Bethany Cisternino won third place. Her cheerleader costume matched her peppy music and choreography, which included impressive walking handstands.
